Purify your language

Jean recently taught me the French. He is really a good teacher. Yesterday I have asked him about the slang of Franch. He said no. He do not wanna to teach me the slam. In his mind, the slang is not good langugage, I think in his mind, he might think the slang is for lower level people and not suit for a elegent, gentle and nice language like French. It is very interesting when I learned it from Jean.

In church, the leaders also recommend us to use PURE language. Because they way you speak reflect who you are. And we are childern of our heavenly father and we should act according to our identity/status.

Actually, in Chinese I also use slang sometimes. Using the slang most of time is for fun/recognization with peers. Of course in business or in formal situation, I wouldn't use that kind of words. But, as Jean said to learn the good language is a way to express who you are and what you see yourself.
